Spoiler function not working in forums :/
-
Hello netgate / forum Team,
i tend to write too much background information so id like to use spoilers to not push walls of text into peoplse faces ^^
but sadly the spoiler button is not working reliably :(
examples:
https://forum.netgate.com/post/1184836
https://forum.netgate.com/topic/190275/where-is-the-cron-guii dont know whats wrong
since i can sometimes get the button to work in the preview but not in the final post like here:

Stet clita kasd gubergren, no sea takimata sanctus est Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet.sometimes it woks only in preview mostly not and rarely in the post :/

Oh let me jump on this one ;)
this is a test of spoiler textDo you have maybe text messing with the tag that is used? Are you maybe not actually clicking the button? You should see it place the tags
||this is a test of spoiler text||
edit: I fixed your first example of it not working.. Guess you need a line between normal text before you add the spoiler tag, I just inserted a line between background and where you text was and not its behind spoiler

@DS_DV said in Spoiler function not working in forums :/:
testits funny that if i quote my own op from this thread it works as spoiler o.O
-
@DS_DV for example I just fixed your 2nd example - by adding a line between your normal text and what you wanted as spoiler
-
@johnpoz that strange o.o
so quoting also fixes it than -
@DS_DV I believe its just the you can't have text directly above it, maybe directly below it as well.. Just make sure you have a line between what you want to spoil and your other text.
