I have searched and came up with nothing. The error makes me not feel welcome.

Using the wrench icon to change the log settings for a specific tab results in this error below. No matter what I try to change, I get the same message after pressing the save button. If I change the settings using the actual settings tab instead of the wrench, that does work, however it does not apply to the System > General, DNS Resolver, or OpenVPN tabs.

Never mind. I see there is an update in the patches package. Sure enough, there is a fix for this issue. I just applied it. I will leave this up in case someone else runs across this.

ROFL - The title caught my attention, but with the comment I have to give it an upvote for humor.

          metoo.
The patched got patched : Fix handling of Deny Config Write privilege for Logging operations (Follow-up fix) (Redmine #15874)

edit : which creates the hilarious situation where you can't apply (it was applied), neither revert the original patch :

and the other way around :
Initially, if 15874 wasn't applied first, you couldn't apply 15874.

No "help me" PM's please. Use the forum, the community will thank you.
Edit : and where are the logs ??

@Gertjan lol I didn't notice that at first, but now that you mention it, I see the one above is the same Redmine #. I applied all patches previously, probably about a week ago or more.

For me it was these two which I had to apply.

If you revert the second one then you can revert the original fix -- it's why they're ordered that way. So if you use apply all or revert all it will come out OK either way.
