Frequent Disconnects/Reconnects When 2 or Devices Connected

I am having an issue with my laptop disconnecting/reconnecting when my phone is connected to the VPN. I verified this being the case by disconnecting the phone from the VPN and no more issue with the laptop. I do not see the phone disconnecting but have not tried connecting the laptop first and then connecting the phone. I have not tried connecting anything other than the 2 devices mentioned. Any suggestions? Thank you.

PS....This is observed when connected to networks outside my local network (hotel, office, etc), have not tried on local network to see if issue persists.
