      I tried to reinstall, empty.

        I think I know why. By default, pfBlockerng has no DNSBL loaded, or DNSBL functionality activated.
        So, by default, after installing pfBlockerng does ..... nothing.
        No need to whitelist something out of 'nothing'.

        That said, pfBlockerng could have whitelisted by default a DNS host name like

        .netgate.com
        

        for obvious reasons 😊

        When you start whitelist blocked host names :

        == clicking on the green "+" (see image) then this host name will get added to the "DNSBL Whitelist" list. So, you have a way to change your mind later on by editing the list.

          It has activated DNSLB, and reloaded after install and updated. In the CE version is there.
