      This is a 1g/500mbit pppoe connection running under Redhat kvm with virtio drivers.

      Running iperf inbound to pf shows this

      which is expected
      Running iperf in reverse mode (and getting full 500Mbit upload) after the graph autoscales
      produces this

      At the same time, interface statistics seems to increase rapidly, so traffic is recorded, but not graphed.

      Can't say I see much improvement on load average, but this needs more testing.
