I have just upgraded to 2.8.0-RC and I have already had a few issues. I have attached the crash log PHP_errors.txt

Also, the Patches tab will not open in the System tab - I just get a blank white screen.

Secondly, I had to reinstall the following packages, as they wouldn't start, even after a reboot. Thankfully, they all restarted after being reinstalled.

      1. Avahi
      2. Nut
      3. Wireguard

      Thanks.

You may have upgraded just as we were switching the repos to RC and hence could not access the pkgs after upgrade.

The patches tab is part of the System Patches package, it look like that also failed to reinstall.

Those PHP errors are normal during the upgrade and are usually removed/hidden. Something during your upgrade prevented that happening. I would assume the same repo access problem.

Are you still seeing issues? Are you able to retest upgrading?

          Thanks for your reply.

I am still seeing the same issues - white screen on the patches tab and also the crash detection.

What do I need to do to resolve this?

Is there a way to reinstall the latest firmware via the GUI, or will i need to SSH?

          Thanks,
          Leon

You need to reinstall the patches package to restore that tab.

              @stephenw10

How can I install the patches when it’s the patches tab that is unavailable?

Thanks. That worked a treat. I do have a new set of crash errors again though - attached. PHP_errors.txt

Hmm, something must be missing if it's still flagging those after upgrade.

Try running: pkg upgrade at the real command line and see if it offers you any pkgs. After a system upgrade they should all be up to date but if something failed to upgrade for some reason it would offer it there.
