      Download the latest 2.4.1-RC snapshots from: https://snapshots.pfsense.org/

      If you're running 2.4.1-DEVEL snapshots you can update to 2.4.1-RC by selecting Stable branch in Updater Settings. If Development branch is selected you will update to 2.4.2.

      2.4.1-RELEASE is planned for next week. See full list of 2.4.1 new features and changes here https://doc.pfsense.org/index.php/2.4.1_New_Features_and_Changes

      As promised, 2.3.x maintenance updates will continue, starting with 2.3.5 next week. See complete list of fixes and changes for 2.3.5 here: https://doc.pfsense.org/index.php/2.3.5_New_Features_and_Changes

        I switched to stable and there is no update for the RC available. I tried from the console and rebooted. Made no difference.

          What version are you running?

            It seems something went wrong with the repos, my current 2.4.0 release installation offers me an update to 2.4.1.r.20171019.1748 on the stable branch, and an update to 2.4.2.a.20171020.0055 on the development snapshots branch.

              @Derelict:

              What version are you running?

              It's currently 2.4.1.a.20171018.1713, no matter whether it's set to use stable or development.

                I would like to switch from 2.4.1 development to 2.4.1 RC without doing a reinstall. If someone can suggest how to do this, I would appreciate it. Right now, my system is stuck on 2.4.1.a.20171018.1713 whether I have the updates set to use stable or development.

                  It spontaneously started working on its own. I updated to 2.4.1 RC.
