      Hello, Good day,

      We have Netgate SG2100, I wanna configure the available LAN, e.g, Ports 3 and 4, the purpose is not to buy a managed switch for expense purposes. I already did the configuration, actually, for VLAN30, I created the rules and enabled the DHCP server. But still no internet connection on LAN4 VLAN30, the status of the LAN is connected. The IP release is from VLAN30, but still no internet. Can anyone here explain to me why it is not working? Thank you

        @chris.doldolia Are you trying to isolate the port or run multiple VLANs on the same port?

        Isolate: https://docs.netgate.com/pfsense/en/latest/solutions/netgate-2100/configuring-the-switch-ports.html

        Only install packages for your version, or risk breaking it. Select your branch in System/Update/Update Settings.
        When upgrading, allow 10-15 minutes to reboot, or more depending on packages, and device or disk speed.

          @SteveITS Hello, good morning,

          Yes, I use LAN1 and LAN2 for multiple ISPs, and supposedly, LAN3 and LAN4 will be another subnet, with VLAN20 and VLAN30. Am I correct about this configuration?

            @chris.doldolia So you already went through that doc page and make LAN4 its own port? Can you show the rules for LAN4?

            Can you ping an IP address from LAN4? (8.8.8.8)

              @SteveITS Good morning, sir,

              I will check again later, I'm just in the office now. I will set up the Netgate again and test it again.

              Thank you

                @SteveITS ![alt text](LAN port4.png My concern for this configuration is that the LAN port has have Static IP, but when I connect my computer to LAN4, the status is unidentified in the LAN, and the IP address does not appear in LAN details. The purpose of this configuration is not to use a managed switch for less expense. I wanna use the available for to be VLAN for a normal switch. Maybe this Model SG2100 has no features.

                Thank you

                  @chris.doldolia The 2100 has a 4 port switch. The documentation page I linked above will allow you to treat a given port as (change it to become) a separate network interface.

                  In the default configuration the individual ports cannot have an IP address because they are all the same LAN.

                  If you want to add a VLAN and have it work on all four ports then I think you need to add the VLAN to "port 5" which is the switch. You might post your Interfaces > Switches pages, and Interfaces > Assignments pages.
