    Cant set wifi interface using pfsense that installed on VM

      I installed pfsense. it works for every clients who connected their wire lan to router and we can acces internet, but it doesn't work for wifi because I cant set Atheros on wifi interface ( it said not avaible). Please help me  :-[

        Did you add assign interface under wireless tab? since 2.4, you can no longer directly assign interface on Interface tab, you should assign it first on wireless tab then you can assign on on your wifi interface.

              its virtual box 5.2.0 actually sir . sorry I am really new about pfsense. But I know that its so important for my local network.

                You probably have to somehow pass the atheros card through to the VM.

                  well sir do u have another solution ? coz all connection which comes from wifi will get ip address from my isp modem (not pfsense) or should I use another VM?

                    Sorry. No idea. My usually recommendation is to not use a wireless card but an access point.
