      I need help ASAP please

context: i made a mistake and couldn't get back into the pfsense GUI or in the console of my 2.8.0 CE box, so i reinstalled 2.8.0 right to the wizard and after, i re-imported my somewhat out of date backup xml file but got it back to where is was just before the crash (somewhat)

where thing are good: i remembered all the changes i had made and re-applied them and all seemed ok.

where thing are not so good: i noticed that i cant delete any setting that i need deleted or

i feel like i lost the ability to do a few things as if i had lost privileges

      can’t delete

      • ipv4 or DNSBL Groups in pfBlocker
      • alias
      • rules
      • certificates
      • port forwarding
      • watchdog monitor services
      • DHCP static mapping
      • i can’t halt the system

      and a few other thing

Am i right thinking i lost my privileges and the right to remove things and if so how on hearth do i correct the problem?

      i need help ASAP please

@jlward what happens when you try?

Are you logged in as “admin”?

Only install packages for your version, or risk breaking it. Select your branch in System/Update/Update Settings.
When upgrading, allow 10-15 minutes to reboot, or more depending on packages, and device or disk speed.

figured it out, it looks like HAproxy is not letting me edit some system setting as when i log in with ip address all works as it should

              could it be my certificates?
