Openvpn traffic not counted in interface statistics

As the title states, I can see vpn traffic on traffic graphs (both the tunnel and the physical if), but it is ommited from interface statistics.
Consistent with what I also see in status, Interfaces.

pfsense plus 25.07.01 running on kvm. Interface is plain Dhcp.
