How to route outbond traffic through a different IP of my WAN interfaces
-
Hey, everybody, I need to evacuate a question.
I have a Multi WAN configuration working well, and on the other hand my LAN and my DMZ. Everything running smoothly.
I have several public IP addresses available. I'm going to install a mail server and I need the outgoing traffic from that server to always go out over the same IP (which is not one of the ones I have configured in my WAN interfaces). So I don't want the navigation IPs to be the same as my SMTP. I want to use some of my other public IP addresses that I have available.
My question is: how should I set up the configuration so that my mail server traffic always goes out over the IP I assign it?Thank you very much for any help in solving this dilemma I have!
Greetings to all of you.

Ok, reading I see that I can configure what I need by assigning a VIP with another public IP to one of my wan and then configuring a rule in Firewall > NAT > Outbond, changing previously Outbond NAT Mode to Manual Outbond.
I have another question about that:
If I switch to Manual Outbond will I have no problems with the normal outgoing Internet traffic of my LAN?Thank you very much for any clarification on this.
Greetings!Gabriel

Shouldn't I use Hybrid Outbond instead of Manual?
Thank you very much
