Training bounty section
-
Based on another post I was wondering if we could do the following:
Create a new section where people could create a bounty for training on certain features. This could be one on one or as a group.
A user would create a bounty for a feature of function they would like training on. They could specify one on one or group. If it is for a group they could specify 4 user or 8 user for example. Specifying a language might be good as this is an international user base. Then specify the feature they would like training on like the following:
Setup of freeswitch
Setup of traffic shaping advanced
Setup of Carp with load balancing on dual WAN
Advance vpn configurationsThey could specify an amount they would be willing to post…ex. $25 per person for 6 people for 1 hour or maybe some other type of solution. Then if someone was interested in the bounty they could offer to do the training.
There are several free solution for conference calling like freeconference.com or even skype. There is also many free webex type solutions.
Thanks,
Mark

Sounds good to me, though I don't think it would require its own section. Feel free to start such threads on the bounty board.
This is something I've had in mind for a while now, a matter of having the time to do it. Likely will start doing things of this nature in the next 3 months or so (details to come).

Slightly disagree here.
I am a big fan of keeping things separated that don't belong together, this means I would opt for a separate "Training bounty" section in the forum.
It is way easier to find (especially for beginners stopping by) and it might catch some additional commercial user$.
