      I use the FreeNas software together with the pfSense and one feature of FreeNAS that I would really like to see in the pfSense is the
      GUI where I can add my own variables to the start up

      (in FreeNAS–>System-->Advanced-->rc.conf)

      I do not feel comfortable modifying the startup scripts by myself and at every upgrade of my pfSense, I loose these settings since they are not in the config.xml
