    is rt2500 chipset supported under pfsense in AP mode?

      It's works well!
      My card is Asus WL-167g (USB) with Ralink RT2500 chipset.

        So then pci card should work as well ? But does it work ok in AP mode? No connection losses and similar stuff?

          Currently use one card Pci D-Link DWL-G520 in AP Mode and work very well.
          I tested the Asus WL-167g (rt2500) and Pci card D-Link with double AP Mode and works!!

              Yes!

              My configuration is:

              IP Conf: Bridge with LAN
              Standard: 802.11G
              Mode: Access Point
              Enable WPA - WPA Pre Shared Key xxxxxx
              WPA Mode: WPA
              WPA Key Management Mode: Pre Shared Key
              Authentication: Open System Autentication
              WPA Pairwise: AES
