    Hi is it possible for someone to create a LiveCd with Linksys WMP54G support biuld in it? im a newbie and i not understand much in the link page…
    would be really glad if someone made a .iso

      We already include all the drivers that FreeBSD supports.  There would be no way for someone to create an ISO unless someone wrote the driver support.

              Oh gotcha.  We do not support that, so if someone else wants to make you a cd that would be great.

                Thats a somehow ugly solution that we most probably don't want to maintain. Wireless nics are rather cheap these days. You should consider just buying a supported nic.

                      If it helps I have made the driver for the WMP54G card I have not tested it as yet but all you will need to do is goto the pfsense admin site and upload the file once you have unrared it.  This will then be /tmp/rt2500_sys.ko.  Once you have done this the file will need to be copied to the correct place.

                      I you want this driver you have to e-mail me for it as I can't attach it to this post as it is 256k or 106k as a zip.

                        I have tested the old version of the card and it works fine so you will have to tell me if you have the new version of the card or old.  I have only compiled the europen drivers.
