    I have just done a cvs_sync.sh and now I get

    Error: cannot determine pwd in system_password_configure()

    and I can now longer log into pfsense via the webby

      cvs_sync.sh releng_1

      Notice the releng_1….

        I did used to use that but I cut off the releng 1 bit because it didn't give the HEAD release which I liked to I stuck to that.  I wasn't shure what the difference was so I stuck with doing just cvs_sync.sh.  But the problem has been fixed by doing that.

          Yeah, you really don't want to run HEAD.  We keep adding to it at a nutty pace with a lack of testing.    It shall be interesting to see how long it takes to get all this new code stable.  It reminds me of when pfSense was first born :P

            HEAD is still a baby that just learns to walk. Keep this in mind when trying to let it run  ;D

              no prob guys I was just posting it to report it as a prob.  I do love this software.  It has replaced my home router because it always crashes and this has cured all.

                If you plan to run head, I'd highly recommend subscribing to the RSS feed at http://cvstrac.pfsense.org/timeline.rss

                it will at least give you an idea about the breakage we commit :)
