Cosmetic issue: Renaming LAN interface?

Hi all,

is it possible to rename the LAN interfaces' name into something different? I have 2 OPT interfaces and renamed them to represent the attached networks. But for LAN, this is not possible.

Looking at the config file i saw that there is no "<descr>"-Tag for that interface. What will happen if i add one and upload configuration back to my pfSense? Will it break my rules, routes etc?

It's not currently possible to rename WAN or LAN. Only OPTs can be substitutet.
