Captive portal and carp compatibility

I have installed a captive portal on one own server and all works fine !!! But when I install a second one to use carp I see that captive portal not work with carp and when I search in the forum I find a solution to do this possible (http://forum.pfsense.org/index.php/topic,3302.0.html), I'm going to try this but is this possible to insert this in the future snapshot of pfsense or in the future version of pfsense ???

On my side, I had to set up passthrough to ip address of the the captive portal virtual ip to make it work.

I try to set the carpX interface in the captive portal xml configuration and to add a passthrougth to this carpX IP but when I attempt to connect since the lan I don't see the captive portal but the error page of the squid (like if I attempt to go on a blacklisted site)
nb: for more precesion I use an upstream proxy (squid) and it say if a page is allowed or not (in this case' I have a page who say that it's not an allowed page)
can somebody help me ???

squid won't work with captive portal currently. It has been discussed somewhere else. Please search.

Will Squid and Capture Portal work together if you are using 2 boxes but in the same switch?
