        It's all in the gui. interfaces>OPTx (your wlan interface).

          what should i do to start a/b/g mode? there is only turbo a, a , b and g under "standart". can i have all three of them?
          i have cm9 and antenna both support a/b/g

            A wireless card cannot work simultaneously at 802.11a and 802.11b/g modes. There different frequencies evolved. CM9 supports a/b/g but you have to choose a or b/g.

              intel wireless 3945abg card in my laptop can see a, b and g ap's all at the same time. there is a settings in card properties where you can choose b, b/g or a/b/g mode. can i do the same in pfsense?

                AFAIK, you can run in a,b,g if you are in client mode. I you are running as an AP, you have to pick between a and b/g.
