      Hi there :),
I know that 1.0 features are frozen (at least in B3 they should be) but I'd like to know if the developpers would consider checking m0n0wall's latest code and maybe import the role-based webGUI access (multiple users, groups) for the future pfS 1.1 or pfS 2.0 (or whatever) releases.
Also if they could extend those multiple users/groups to the "serial port access" and to the sFTP access…
I know I'm asking too much without contributing anything but there's not much I can do since I don't have coding skills  :-[

It's already part pfSense 1.1 (but of course like everything else in the advanced pfSense way  ;D ):

              Hello,

I have installed the latest 1.2beta2 with the live CD and it works great. But I don't find the "assigning ajax rights" options. In fact, I have to configure and administrate the pfsense, but I want another user to only create access with freeradius. Is there a way to create a user login who can only go to freeradius options ??

I thank you much for answer and thank you much to create this great project

It is not in 1.2.  It will be in a future version.

Ok thank you for the infos.

My enterprise as about 10 sites and we want to develop some free hotspots for our clients. Pfsense is very powerfull and I miss only a way to make the employees create some account without having an acces to administration GUI.

So if you need some tester for new features that you develop, you can send me a message ;).

                  See you

                  Michael

This should definitely be in 1.3. Watch the blog for updates.
