What version of pfSense?  Did you upgrade from an older version?  What configuration have you set for rl0?

I had once a similiar problem with a defective ADSL-Modem/router.
It kept rebooting and everytime it did the interface went down and up again.

We do what we must, because we can.

I have a similar problem here. Used to work for a year, and not the WAN Bridged ADSL connection is giving me a headache.

Any ideas? 1.2RC3 version and static IP on the interface.

Found this too while I was doing my Dual-WAN tests. Seem to occur when unplugging and plugging the WAN ethernet cable. NO IDEA what it means though. Perhaps some developers could tell us something ;)

How did you get rid of it? What causes the problem. The thing used to work before.

At a glance it doesn't look like anything but log noise. Hot plug events on static IP interfaces don't do anything, so there isn't anything for it to be doing wrong.  :)  I'll check into it though.

are you actually seeing a problem? If so, what specifically is it?

My WAN access in unavailable because of the problem. Fortunately I have a backup WAN access and the Load Balancer works and directs all the traffic to the backup line. How would I get the WAN to work? Already tried a new ADSL modem, but that didn't help.
