As you are working on the OVPN system, perhaps you could check and fix the probleb we have using OVPN with certificates, and linked to the NTP/OVPN interaction on WRAP systems.

I also would put $50 forward to add the ability (from the gui) to be able to use openvpn against a radius / ldap server and to turn on duplicate-cn option so you could basically use 1 certificate but have everyone have to use their username and password to connect. I would prefer to have the choice so you could use a 3rd party radius server or freeraduis on the pfsense box since different clients have different needs.

I'm anxious for this feature and think I could have it operational by the middle of next week if not sooner.
However, I don't want to step on cmb's toes if he is working on this… Let me know soon so we don't duplicate too much work.

I'll add an extra $50 if this gets included in the main code base for future release.

Everything mentioned in this thread is currently under development and will be committed to the RELENG_1 branch (for 1.3 release) sometime in the next month or two (some major OpenVPN improvements are in the works).
