I have an Alix box with atheros card running 1.2 RC4. I can connect fine from my Laptop PC but can't seem to get it working with my iPhone.

      Any ideas ?

Maybe you should specify your problems a bit.
        I'm guessing that it's W-LAN related, right?

Yes, the problem was wireless. I selected TKIP for WPA Pairwise and it started working.

          Thanks.

Thanks for posting this!  I just got an iPod Touch and it wouldn't connect to my pfSense WPA AP. Didn't have time to look into why, but saw this post. This worked for my iPod Touch as well.

This also fixed my AirTunes!  May work for others in the future with AirPort Express and other Apple products (keyword stuffing there for future searches :)). It stopped working at some point (apparently when I changed this from TKIP, which I don't recall doing but am sure I did at some point) and is another thing I didn't have time to look into fixing.

Thanks again for posting this, took care of a couple problems for me.  ;D
