          The captive Portal is NOT loadbalanceable.
          If you want the captive Portal AND loadbalancing you will need 2 machines.

          We do what we must, because we can.

              thanks for reply

              btw…
              is the network looks like this?

              wan(modem) ->
                                      pfsense(load balancing) -> pfsense (cp) -> lan network
              opt1(modem) ->

              so this is using 2 machine right?

                      What a pitty captive portal can't support dual wan. Pfsense is supposed to be dual, triple wan aware but the applications on the pfsense box are not. Let's pool some money together to get everything fixed once and for all.

                        pfsense is multi-wan aware but with issues! With real loads it goes nutz and packet storms develop and down she goes! To do all in one machine just will not work… with a real load! Home Use or Base Setup this system rocks I love it! But a commercial deployment with hundreds of machines and multi-wan and captive portal systems just will not work with out lots of machines doing specific jobs! The all in one whammy gizmo's approach will fail in a load situation and by current design! :-(

                        Buy some more machines assign specific jobs and your life will become much better!
