I want to try the new freebsd 7.0 atheros drivers on my 6.2 system because it is really unstable and 7.0 might have fixed many problems with the wireless. Just wondering if it is possible. Money could be contributed.

If this is all possible, I will post such bounty.

          Cheers!

You'd probably have to raise the question of whether or not it's possible on the relevant FreeBSD mailing list.  It would take somebody with knowledge of the drivers and the differences between 6.x and 7.0 to be able to say with any certainty.

I would mostly say he tries to ask of the issues he has and than jump to driver issue problems!

I'm not to knowledgeable in terms of freebsd and means of getting support for it. The only freebsd system I've used is pfsense. I guess if know one knows here, i'll have to find other means to ask that question.

                Cheers.

I'm also interested in testing FreeBSD 7 wireless so I have been watching this closely. PFSense 1.3 will be based on FreeBSD 7 a snapshot (early test version) will hopefully be out soon at http://snapshots.pfsense.com/ for additional information take a look at:
