9 wireless clients conected no more will go on

how can i get 50 clients on a ap im runing alix board with abg card (atheros) i can use 2 cardsif needed
but no more than 9 clients will asosiate my dhcp is set for 100 …. -
in the system log i get alot of deauthenticated due to local deauth request

What alix board are you using and what exact atheros chipset/card are you using?

The Alix is the LX800 (500mhz / 256 RAM) with 2x LAN + 2x mPCI.
The card is an Atheros AR5006XS - this card:

I have it set to 50% tx power, and have everything set to run through the right antenna, no diversity.
There are a couple of other APs, but they are about 1500-2000 feet away, and running on non-overlapping channels.
