      Hi, i'm using Pfsense but i want a functionality as meraki it filters by mac the authorized users to use it as gateway or else only kind of advertise your gateway putting some splash page, i now that the following image has some advanced controls but i'll be happy just to get the basic catsplash

      If theres someone to have some info in how to accomplish this or some guidance to do it… Thanks for your support!

                Ok i've reviewed the answers i have this doubt;

                Can i override the user/password and use a mac filter instead?
                If a mac isn't in the allowed list, it will only navigate to this splash page?

                Thanks

                  You should actually look at the config page of the captive portal, and not just read about it.

                  If you do that you will notice the tab "pass-through MAC".
                  Meaning all MAC's on this list will be just allowed through the CP and all other will be taken to the authentication page.

                  You can upload your own authentication page.
                  (even one without user/password fields)
