Running pfSense 1.2.2 on ESX4, with E1000 nics.

After a while, sometimes short, sometimes longer, the LAN interface stops reponding. From the console the firewall itself can be pinged, but nothing else on the LAN side. WAN side works fine.

It has got 512MB memory and 1 vCPU to run about 100 users on a 50Mbit internet connection. No rules except default NAT.

How do I (a Windows guy) troubleshoot this?

        Hej Ole….

It was a duplicate IP  :o

Still interested in knowing how to troubleshoot (from shell), which logfiles to examine and things like that.

            Hej Supermule.
