Request: Data based voucher option for Captive Portal. Allowing creation of custom data blocks without time expiry, to be accessed via code entry in CP.

See work already done on time based voucher system at: http://forum.pfsense.org/index.php/topic,8672.0.html

If it only works in 2.x, I can offer US$50. If it can also work in 1.2.x, I will double that to US$100 total. Anyone else interested?

Amount of data instead of amount of time.

Thanks, can you recommend a service that provides this? Would https://www.coova.net/ be an option? I basically just want voucher codes, rather than maintaining and generating individual user accounts. I don't really want more 24/7 hardware on site if it ends up that I need to run a RADIUS server, which is why an integrated solution in pfSense would be attractive.

You can install freeradius locally on pfSense as a package and handle through that with CP.

Is the issue at http://forum.pfsense.org/index.php/topic,1894.0.html resolved in 1.2.3 or 2.0?
