We have a list of ips that we want to block (we run a script daily and get them from our webserver - scraping bots and stuff)
how can we bulk add these ips to pfsense deny rules?

You can create an alias with all the IPs and then create a rule blocking that alias. In the future if you want to add more IPs, just add them to the alias.

          thanks!
that's definitely a step in the right direction.
is there any way to drop a text file in for bulk loading?

Not that I know of. You could backup the config.xml file and manually update the correct section and then restore the config again.
