I have posted a final status to  "Port-forwarding LAN:X to LAN:Y" under "Firewall" at least twice, and I think three times, and it does not show up.

Are you referring to this thread: http://forum.pfsense.org/index.php/topic,25338.msg131414.html#msg131414 ?
I've had that happen to me once or twice as well.
I usually solved it by cleaning the browser cache and restarting my computer.

Logging out and deleting pfsense.org cookies and logging back in could work as well.

I've never had that happen to me. I use Firefox, though.

Are you behind a proxy of some kind?

Behind pfsense 1.2.3 with a default deny and lots of rules to pass everything I have run into.
Running Firefox 3.6.3 on Ubuntu 8.10.
This had not happened previously, including on this forum, including with the same firewall configuration.
