-
Hello i have just moved from smoothwall to this great pfsense 2.0 RC
But how does this firewall work? On smoothwall i had to enable access for dns/http/https to access internet everything is opened on pfsense from the beggining?
I want to allow access to the http by my self how do i do this so anythinhg other is blocked from internett?
I feel things are opened from the start. Sorry for this stupid question hope someone help me.

Go to Firewall -> Rules.
Look for the one labeled "Default allow LAN to any rule"
Disable that, then add what you want.
(I'm assuming you were asking how to deleted the "default allow all traffic from LAN -> WAN rule, but could be mistaken.)

And add own rules to allow http, https and the dns i cannot access the internett, do you know how i could configure it? or any good example for a newbie how to configure it?
