Is it possible to add users to Pfsense 1.2.3 only with read privileges?

There is no usermanagment in 1.x at all.

With 2.0 there is a user manager where you can add as many users as you like and set rights for every config-page.
You can also put them into groups.
(eg. a group admins).

I guess that adding a user @/var/run/htpasswd will work, but with no privilege option.
