Where is stored the logs of capitive-portal by ssh access.
/var/log/portalauth.log
Display the file by # clog /var/log/portalauth.log because its not a "straight text file" its a "circular log" file which is of fixed size and holds only the most recent "n" bytes of logging information. -
helped … thanks.
Another issue...could be unlimited?
I have the squid's logs/lightsquid ... and if someone needs to verify an improper access, would use the voucher, because I have the ip and mac + name, address of the user "registered", when released the voucher for access. I know who made the improper access through it.
Thanks...

No, those logs cannot be unlimited (currently). If you need to keep them, setup an external syslog server and forward logs there to be held indefinitely.
The squid package also rotates its logs, just not the same way. Logs aren't kept indefinitely.

i'm using embedded version installed on compact flash. I used cron tab to write log into a file every hour but when i shutdown the system i lost all file. It's possible to write file into compact flash instead of virtual ram disk?
