No Pass Throught

At the risk of sounding like an idiot…

When I turn on captive portal traffic can not pass through but users never see the authentication page. I'm sure this is something simple that I'm stumbling over but I would love a clue.

Any ideas?

Have you provided an authentication page?

I had this problem until i changed the dns address in dhcp ( for the same interface) to the local interface in which captive portal was on.
