Clear answer on advanced default values?
-
Dear folks,
I have a rather straightforward question.
I am running pfsense 2.0RC3 and 2.0 RELEASE versions.
I'm having some trouble with state timeouts, and I was wondering what default value pf or the web gui set/uses for an ESTABLISHED:ESTABLISHED state that has no traffic flowing for a while (state timeout).
I've searched to forums and the book, but cannot seem to find a definite answer on this.
Thank you in advance,

If im not wrong, check with "pfctl -st" command

Thanks! That did it!
Is there also a way to check for a specific rule?

Sorry, i cant help you on that, please check the pfctl man page:
http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/man.cgi?query=pfctl&apropos=0&sektion=0&manpath=FreeBSD+8.1-RELEASE&arch=default&format=html

Check:
pfctl -vvss
To see the expiration time for state table entries.
