OpenVPN Bridge with TAP fix wont come up
-
Hey guys,
i just wanted to setup a OpenVPN server for 3 - 4 clients. These clients shall have an IP adress from the LAN DHCP.
My problem is, that nothing that i type into the Tunnel Settings section, is stored.
What can i do to get the openvpn server online? Here some screens:

It looks like somehow the patch applied twice and may have messed up the whole page on there.
If it did that to the file you're looking at, it may have also done it to the other files the patch touched.
Not sure how that happened as the install code checks for that and shouldn't let it happen…

sorry to raise and old thread, but I have the same issue:
I installed the bridge tap fix package, then when I tried to use it on a tap openvpn server i noticed that the "tunnel network" was still BOLD and I could not left it blank, so I assumed that the package was not properly installer and I went on system->packages again to reinstall it.
now the "tunnel network" is STILL bold, as a matter of fact I cannot setup the vpn yet, but moreover I have twice entries for the bridge tap fix, which as I said, I cannot even test due to the "tunnel network" bug
anyone experienced this? the package cannot be uninstalled, but it looks bugged, so I don't really know what to do

Remove the package, run a firmware update.
tap isn't really properly fixed until 2.1, the patch was just a half-hearted attempt to get it working on 2.0.x, but it doesn't fix everything for everyone.
If you really want tap, use 2.1-BETA
