I have setup a firewall schedule on my pfSense box and the schedule works but not all of the way. I selected all days that are within the business hours which is Monday - Friday 7:00-17:30. But the firewall rule is open during the same hours on the weekends also even though it's not in my schedule that I assigned to the rule. I have gone in on the weekend to check why it is allowed and each time I see that the rule is green(Allowed) when I look in the firewall rules area. Then I go to verify the schedule and I validated that it should not be active because it is a day that is not choosen in the schedule.

      I'm running the latest build:
      2.0-RELEASE (i386)
built on Tue Sep 13 17:28:43 EDT 2011

I have attached some screenshots of my schedule showing my current configuration.

        Hi:

Latest build is 2.0.1…  But I don't think anything has changed between the two builds regarding schedules...

In my pictures below you can see the difference between the scheduled rule off then on.  The IP's there were trying to hack my email server so I dont care that anyone see's em.

But I added the schedule to show that schedules are working. Faint X is off, Bright X is on.

        Yours obviously is staying on.

Right now Im trying to duplicate your schedule on this same box and will watch it for a day or two.

And- don't know if it would save you any time but by clicking on the actual day of the week on the schedule page you will pick that day basically forever and not have to keep coming back to modify your schedule.

Thank you very much chpalmer!  I have already changed my schedule to be M-F instead of manually selecting the days.  That may be the trick…  It's already looking like it is working better.  I think something happened in the scheduler when I selected a couple month's of Monday's - Friday's, probably some kind of memory issue.

Also I wanted to mention that I am on 2.0.1, that screenshot and post was old.

            Thanks for your help!

              Hello All,
I have the same problem with schedules like whoamib.
I noticed that when I create a schedule which involves more than one month, the schedule is not working properly.
For example I have attached 2 screenshots and

              1. when time range which involves 2 months (or more) is configured in one range - don't work!
              2. when time range which involves 2 months (or more) is configured in two ranges - works!

As you can see in the pictures, time ranges for 828_Eli and test are identical, but 828_Eli is active today 11-Mar-2012, but the other schedule is not active! I think this is a bug!
