    Chinese characters on captive portal redirect

      This is a new install of pfSense and captive portal. when i login to captive portal using firefox it logs in but when its supposed to redirect only a blan page comes up with chinese(or Japanese) characters on it.

      i haven't tried with safari yet, but IE and chrome works fine.

      Has any one seen this issue?

        Can't say I've ever heard of that one. Definitely wouldn't be coming from our code, nothing even remotely close to anything like that in it.

          Safari works fine… Also mobile browsers work... Its firefox.. i could replicate the problem in a new ubuntu install. When the redirect kick in firefox displays that weird looking page.

            Disabled the Logout popup window on captive portal and is working fine on all browsers…
