View captive portal from internet

i have a question ..how to view captive portal from internet?
my WAN ip 192.168.1.33, locally i view captive portal with ip 192.168.1.33:8000im able to view my pfsense admin page after register with dyndns.org.
but how im able to view my captive portal page outside from internet? -
use port forwarding and PAT (port address translation) in your router/modem
Create a firewall rule on WAN interface to allow traffic on that port from whatever IP address you will be using to access that pfsense box.
But why would you want to view the portal page? The reason is beyond me..

It is a good way to do quick and dirty troubleshooting. You can add a firewall rule on WAN allowing port 8000 and view it via http://<wan ip="">:8000. I've done that with customers to test their RADIUS auth, it sends the auth request, but it's not really good beyond actually testing the portal page and RADIUS itself since you aren't really sending traffic through the portal.</wan>

but still i cannot view my captive portal page from outside ..
any help? thanks in advance -
you do have to disable MAC filtering to view the page, otherwise it'll error out because it can't find your MAC address for an Internet source IP.

thanks ..i will try that and give u an update
