      Hey,

I've got small problem with my pfSense router. I can ping external hosts but I cannot get to their services (HTTP server, SSH itp.). I have two virtual machines and they are behind firewall pfSense. What do you think could cause this strange problem? Firewall rules (on pfSense and on systems installed on virtual machines) allow for everything.

Are you pinging with ip address or DNS name? Is the pfsense a VM also? If so, do you have the vswitches allowing promiscuous mode?

I can ping both - external ip and dns address. PFSense is a virtual machine. I set accept promiscuous on my vswitches.
