**Captive Portal External Web Page**

Hi…
I set up my pfsense 2.0 release with voucher and it works just fine. I want the clients of my small network be able to access an external web page (for example, google.com), in order to get a new voucher code when the one they had is already expired.
Please, if anybody could just give me the tips to set up this requirement, i really would appreciate it...

See Services -> Captive Portal, click on Allowed IP Addresses

pfSense's CP "Allowed IP Addresses" feature will work with most websites, but it probably won't work very well with google.com (which the original poster asked for) due to Google NS constantly changing the IPs to which the www.google.com resolves.

Fair enough, but I suspect Google won't be issuing new Captive Portal voucher codes for a (private?) captive portal.

Thanks a lot!! I try Allowed Ip Addresses!!! it works just fine. Of course the site wont be google.com, it was just an example, but something like www.mysite.com, but i noticed it only works with the ip address rather than the domain mysite.com

That is probably why the tab is titled Allowed IP addresses rather than Allowed hosts.

LOL, true, however I mentioned it because the issue of constantly changing IPs comes up with other Google websites, like Google Analytics, which people might want to use in a CP context.
