Got a wireless connection but can't access the internet

Do you have any networking apps on your phone that can tell you if you are:
1 - Connected to the WiFi
2 - Received a DHCP address from the DHCP server
3 - DNS queries are being answered
4 - Can do a ping and/or a tracerouteAlso, how do you have your wireless interface configured?
I am connected to the wifi and did get an ip address. I'll get a couple screen shots up shortly

Your WiFi interface is apparently OPT1. The pfSense default is to block access on all interfaces EXCEPT LAN. Therefore you need to add a firewall rule to allow access from OPT1. After adding the firewall rule you will need to reset firewall states: see Diagnostics -> States and click on Reset States tab.
Please answer Tim's question about ping and/or traceroute apps for your phone.

Look in the appropriate app store for ping and and again for traceroute.
What sort of phone do you have: Android? iPhone? something else?

There are a number of posts in the pfSense documentation pages (http://doc.pfsense.org, particularly the How-tos on setting up WiFi Access Points on pfsense.(For now, ignore any mention of bridging interfaces because that adds an additional layer of complexity.) I think there ouht to be articles there explaining firewall rules.

That documentation isn't helping me any. I can't even find a video on how to do it

Can you be more specific than "isn't helping me any"? Which documents did you read? What were you looking for that wasn't there?
A quick look through http://doc.pfsense.org/index.php/Access_Point2 (one of the first I saw on the documentation home page) suggests it probably has most of what you need. If not, what is missing?

I'm running on PFSense 2.0.2, the guide is based on 1.0.1.
The part that i feel isn't helping me is the firewall rule. I try to figure it out, but I still can't get the right settings. It dosen't tell me what specific settings are needed to get the rule to successfully work

The document I pointed you to seems to have the necessary detail to fill in the firewall rule. Are you having trouble translating the information in the document to the firewall rule?
Maybe you need to reset firewall states. See Diagnostics -> States and click on the Reset States tab.
Maybe you have filled in the firewall rule and now you are attempting something and not getting the response you expect. Withourt knowing what you were attempting and the response you got to that attempt it is difficult to give any further help.

I finally got wifi to work. Had to really read it over and over. It was the protocol that was goofing me up. LOL Thank you for all the help! I will get working on a video tutorial very soon
