Ftp client doesn t work

Hello,

I am using pfsense and I am encountering a problem with ftp client to join a ftp server.
Port 21 works well, but in passive mode for example, how can the firewall let  an outgoing port related to the control port transmit data. (option related with iptables for instance).
In fact I don t want to open ports from 1024 to … statically.
