Weird (Firewall Rules) Problem
-
Here is the deal. I just installed v2.0.2 on my box and I'm able to access the box via the LAN port (192.168.1.1).
All is great and everything works like a charm when it comes to accessing the various drop downs to configure.
Specifically, the Firewall->Rules section. Now when I go to change the LAN interface to 192.168.2.1/24 and log back in via the LAN, all other drop down
sections come up, except for Firewall -> Rules. When I click on the Rules under Firewall all I get is an empty page
that appears to be attempting to load the gui you'd normally see. But for whatever reason, when I change the
LAN port away from 192.168.1.1/24 to 192.168.2.1/24, the Firewall->Rules section is no longer accessible.
And when I change it back to 192.168.1.1/24 and log back in, all is fine and I can see the firewall rules section. What on earth could be going on?

That is strange. Try changing the LAN subnet and rebooting and see if you have the same problem.

I did that and I got no love. Really weird. I'm gonna mess with it one last time this coming
weekend and see what is causing this issue. Thanks for your response.

When I switch to using IE, it works. When I use Mozilla, it won't display anything under Firewall>Rules.
Weird… Any ideas on what browser feature/flag might be the culprit?

That is indeed odd - normally when I struggle with UI problems its because I'm using IE - switching to Firefox, Chrome, or Safari allows it to behave normally!

Sounds like the weird things that can happen with stale cache from previously accessing a different device on that same IP.

Good one. Let me clear out my browser's cache. Thanks,
