Cant print because wireless printers are on a different subnet

So I follow a tutorial on how to set up a wirelss access point. My wired one is on 192.168.1.0/254 and my wireless is on 192.168.2.0/254…now the problem is that I cant print from my workstations because the printers which are wireless connect to the 192.168.2.0...any workaround this??

Usually that's an issue with the printer. Either it doesn't have a proper network config (wrong subnet mask, missing/incorrect gateway), or it has some sort of subnet filtering on the printer.
Can you ping the print but not print to it?

thanks for the response..do I have to setup a firewall rule so the wireless devices can access the pfsense box and vice versa? I am lost..I cant ping or anything to the printers.

They would need to be able to reach the printer(s), not the pfSense box.
If your firewall rules allow the traffic, it's probably a configuration issue on the printer's network config, as I mentioned.

I am not in the location right now but let me get this straight, in the printer conf, should pfsense be the gateway of the printer and everything else pointing to the printer subnet?

I am able to ping to the printer from the different subnet. I cant access the webconfigurator for the printer nor cant print. AGH

Ok, got it..I had a rule that was not letting anything from the Wireless Access Point into my PFsense LAN. Plus, I had to re-install the drivers in each workstation and point them into the right subnet. It works. My only concern is now that I removed that firewall rule, anyone that accesses the wifi, will have access to my sublan.

On the pfSense Wifi interface add a firewall rule to allow access to the printer and to block access to the LAN. Firewall rules are processed top down until the first match.
