I created a rule - to block ping.

in /tmp/rules.default the entry is as follows.

block in quick on $lan inet proto icmp from { 192.168.19.90 } to any label "USER_RULE: stop icmp"

I wanted to block ping from 192.168.19.90, which is a node in my LAN. But, once this rule is implemented, I am unable to ping from any of the node of LAN. Why is it so ?
