What experiences/recommendations are there for an Android App to connect to pfsense via OPenVPN (or is it wiser to use a different protocol?
Target is a Samsung S3 phone
Thanks

Works great for me using the client linked here:
http://doc.pfsense.org/index.php/Android_VPN_Connectivity#OpenVPN_on_Android_.28Non-Root.29
Use the "inline" export format from the OpenVPN client export package and then you just have to get one file onto the phone (e-mail, copy over USB/network, etc) and you'll be up and running.

I am using the OpenVPN App that can be found on the link jimp posted. It works great on my Nexus 4.
The inline configuration is working, too.One problem I have is that it seems that it does not allow more than one dest IP address
"remote x.x.x.x port tcp"
only one is allowed or imported. But I just did a short test and it works with one remote IP and I didn't look any deeper. -
Thanks - will test later to-day!

Hi all,
As I have a rooted phone, does it allow me to use a certificate and Xauth based connection, rather than the certificateless inline configuration mentioned above? How difficult is this to set up?

Worked first time - can't do better than that
Thanks
