Open VPN and VLANs
-
So I had followed this guide http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1663797 and I had everything working wonderfully. But last month I had changed my network from a single LAN to 3 VLANs now I am unable to get network access while connected to the VPN. I get what looks like a completed connection but I get no network access. When I pull up the network connection details it shows that I have gotten a IP address from the DHCP range of the VPN server but it shows the server as 192.168.51.0 and my DHCP server is 192.168.51.1 (at least that is where the VLAN gets its DHCP leases from). What am I missing is there another rule or something I need to make because of the VLANs?

So it seems the problem is with bridging to the VLAN on the PF sense screen I keep getting Bridge0: error setting interface capabilities on em0_vlan51 or what ever vlan I try to bridge. Any ideas?

No one has any ideas? If I can't bridge the connections is there a way to setup some rules that connect the inerfaces together. I use this for access to my local network while at school, and I really don't want to have to go back to a single LAN. The VLANs have really helped with network congestion and smoothed things out.
if you know how to do the rules the more detail the better. I'm a mechanically inclined person and I still don't understand the mechanics of the rules yet. I understand what they do but what each variable does is still unclear.

So I figured it out. I made a couple of rules to set the traffic from the open VPN interface to the VLAN.
